If you or someone you know is interested in serving on the TAEA Board, please nominate them or yourself! This form is quick and easy for the nominator, and we will get more info from the nominee later. All newly elected board members will be introduced at the 2024 Fall TAEA Conference! Nominations are due September 15th. 

  • The following elected positions are open for nomination to a 2-year term (Beginning in January 2025 through December 2026):


    -West Tennessee Regional Co-Representative
    -Middle Tennessee Regional Co-Representative
    -East Tennessee Regional Co-Representative

    Nominees must live and/or work in the region for which they're nominated and must be current members of NAEA/TAEA. The duties for each board position are listed below.

    • The duties of the office of Regional Co-Representative include:

      • Vote as member of the board

      • Develop a regional one-day Spring workshop/conference/activity. Interpret trends and investigate means of continuous development of art education.

      • Engage and enlist the participation of regional constituents.

      • Direct the regional meeting at the regional conference.

      • Submit a report to the Board.

      • Assist the Past-President with state conference activities.

      • Insure nomination for TAEA.

      • Insure submission to YAM Chair.

      • Support Membership Growth initiatives.

      • Lead and serve on committees as needed.

      • Attend all board meetings

      • Serve and coordinate all activities with Co-Regional Chair
